@110 Ricardo
True. I guess I failed to write that to properly include the 'serial killer' vibe I was implying.

113

Curious @ 112 - Never send a first draft.

114

Ms Lava - I just saw a video of a visit from your PM to one of the areas most affected by the fires. He was sent packing quickly back.

115

It's nice to hear of problematic politicians sent packing.
When Northern California had our hugest fire a couple years ago, Trump visited the ravaged area and said it was our fault for not raking the leaves in our forests.

116

Yes Mr Venn, one exhausted volunteer fire man, yelled out from the fire truck ā€œ you the press? You can tell the PM to go and get fucked.ā€ Already a mural turning up in Melbourne of this.
Very tragically underprepared and they were warned it was coming. After yrs of drought in many areas of our country. Ignored the warnings because they love the coal we still got in the ground. Donā€™t put money into alternative energies, and we have sun all yr round in a lot of the country.
Sydney this morning covered in smoke.
Been lucky so far in Qld, where I live. Rain at the moment.
And Murdoch is in the sights of the mad as hell populace. Capitalism has to die, we have to live more simply or we wonā€™t live.
Now Greta is going after Roger, over his sponsorships. That girl rocks.
Tennis soon, be a respite from the horrors. Heartā€™s not in it though.

117

Donā€™t watch porn. Now arses are falling out and people find that erotic?
Find other porn LW, showing anal, where people arenā€™t starting to fall apart.

118

I donā€™t mind the closeups, but prefer that they be kept to a minimum. Iā€™d much rather see the woman enjoying herself.

119

I think close-ups have their place sometimes, but I much prefer to see people's faces. Unless the acting is bad and they're not enjoying themselves (or convincingly pretending to be enjoying themselves), it's the expressions on their faces while they're doing it that turns me on (though bad acting and blank faces are quite common on the internet). I also like audio porn because it often feels more human to me. Also, I usually wind up closing my eyes and focusing on the sound anyway.

120

... And that's the most I've ever said about my own sexual behavior or preferences. Sure hope no one I know reads these comments. With everything I've shared about myself over the last few months, it would probably be pretty easy for anyone who actually knows me and regularly reads the comments to tell this is me. I'm not concerned at all about some stranger finding who I am, but if it turns out someone who knows me is here and read that, that would be quite embarrassing. Most of what I write here is not anything I'd be embarrassed to say in real life, but information about my sex life (to use that phrase very very loosely) is different. Oops.

121

@88. Bi. We're not in disagreement over what SAS should do. I don't think he does pursue transwomen, though.

As a sidenote (and this is not at all aimed at you but at the culture generally), could I register an objection to the familiar distinction between 'non' and 'post'-op transsexuals? I have had between four and five ops, depending on whether you count something apparently cosmetic as pertaining to gender modification. None have been a phallectomy, and I wouldn't like it done. Yet someone in my position could always and only be 'pre'-op? No health plan paid for these ops; I paid for them all myself. Yet isn't a tracheal shave, for instance, a serious change that can make someone feel much better in their gender identity? Besides not wanting to cough up, these plans and providers of socialised medicine have bought, in a really fucked-up, into the mystique of the phallus.

@120. Calliope. I think I've said enough here to reveal my identity many times over! About 5% of what I say is adjacent to my experience, but not actually true--introduced to make for enough plausible deniability that people I know will not think I'm traducing our experiences together. There's only one person I care about in this regard, the child (now adult) of an ex. I would be revealing stuff [they] didn't know about [their] father if [they] picked up who I was.

But--for the most part--I think there's an assumption of privacy and people just don't care.

122

Donā€™t worry Muse, and itā€™s great youā€™re sharing.

123

Ricardo @110, dildos, fleshlights and the like are popular for their utility, not their visual appeal. Most people do not have space to store a RealDoll but can keep a collection of dildos in a bedside drawer. There's no correlation between sex toys and liking close-ups in porn.

Lava @117, again, gaping and prolapsed are not the same thing.

Calliope @119: "Also, I usually wind up closing my eyes and focusing on the sound anyway." Yes, me too! I guess that's one reason I don't like porn. The odds that I reopen my eyes and look back to the screen and there's a giant ass or snatch being fucked, instant turnoff, ruins it for me.

Calliope @120, I share your fear. That's why I demurred when Sporty demanded to know where I was "from." That's the sort of detail that, when added to everything else I've written (that is relevant to the topics which come up here), would render me instantly identifiable to anyone who knew me.

Harriet @121, I find it unlikely he is "exclusively into" trans women and has never dated any. But okay. And since we're getting semantic now, "transsexual" is a word that has been retired from the PC vocabulary. Someone in your position would not, indeed, be "pre-op," since you never intend to be post-op; that's why the word pre-op is also being replaced by non-op, in recognition of the fact that many trans women do not opt for bottom surgery and this does not make them somehow incomplete. We all know which "op" we are talking about in these cases; one would not refer to a cis woman with a boob job as "post-op."

124

Ms. Mooz
Masturbating to porn can be challenging as you are essentially masturbating to someone else's fantasy as opposed to yours. Porn can be good for a starter and inspiration, and if I take it further I often imagine myself in the given situation and/or other people I know.

Privacy is key here, allowing us to discuss sensitive issues in a fairly safe manner. I appreciate people who support their point with their own experiences, and loath those who come here to criticize and make fun of others, based on what those commenters shared in good faith, yet avoid any glimpse into their own private life.

125

Thanks Fan. Can always rely on you for a correction. Gaping or falling out arse, my response stays the same.

126

Iā€™ve tried watching porn, finding some decent stuff amidst the horrors. Iā€™d got used to my mindā€™s fantasy and fingers, with coconut oil.. not to be used before silicone condoms..and I enjoy my private time with my called upon mental actors.

127

@116 LavaGirl: I am so relieved to know that you and your family are safe in Queensland. I have been looking into Australia's Red Cross offices for addresses to donate to in fire relief funds.
Go, Greta Thunberg, GO!!!!! Keep kicking serious ass!
@126 LavaGirl: I once rented a pornographic film while staying overnight in a motel room when I was age 25 and still single----out of sheer curiosity. I was alone, far, far away from anyone I knew, and hopping a plane home the next day. Since then my porn curiosity has been sated.
Watching Boogie Nights, starring Mark Wahlberg is close enough for me, anymore.

128

Glad you're safe, LavaGirl. My heart is breaking for Australia in general.

129

BDF @ 123 - I was directly answering Curious's post, and my point was precisely that "There's no correlation between sex toys and liking close-ups in porn", which Curious seemed to be making about Hunter.

I, for instance, love close-ups in porn, but I have zero use for dildos, fleshlights and other such toys. (I also love shots of whole bodies, faces, etc. - you should use them all if you're trying to make a visually interesting video.)

130

Ricardo @129, ah. I read Curious's post the way he later clarified it as meaning -- that if he's so fond of dehumanising people by focusing on their genitals and disregarding the rest of them, perhaps he could take it further and literally dismember people and keep souvenirs. Guess it was more obvious to me that he wasn't talking about dildos!

131

BDF @ 130 - Yes, he obviously wasn't talking about dildos, but I have met quite a few people for whom dildos and similar toys are more enjoyable than actual human bodies. In my view, that's not far removed from disembodied genitalia, since in both cases, you don't have to bother with the person and can just enjoy the dick/vagina.

132

@131 Ricardo
"that's not far removed from disembodied genitalia"

Take for example a pornstar from whose genitalia a sex toy mold were made. It would certainly be vastly different to that person whether one used the toy, or cut off their body parts.

Ricardo, what did you guess I was trying to so with the (admittedly clumsy) construction "...to, um, 'collect'..."@109?

If I ever need a ghostwriter I'm choosing BDF, I was trying to say exactly what she wrote @130:

"if he's so fond of dehumanising people by focusing on their genitals and disregarding the rest of them, perhaps he could take it further and literally dismember people and keep souvenirs."

Not that I'm proud of doing so now, mind you. I have no reason to think Hunter is a serial killer. There's your faint praise, Hunter, (as Griz would say...) savor the riches!

133

Curious @ 132 - I knew exactly what you meant, I was just pointing out your phrasing was too broad and could apply to people who collect sex toys (who, sometimes, also prefer their genitalia disembodied, i.e. with no body attached, as I specified @ 131).

And just so you know, I'm excellent at revising/rewriting poorly-written text (in French, though), but that's something I do in exchange for money. Here, I'm just being pedantic; that's a service I offer free of charge.

134

@133 Ricardo
"your phrasing was too broad"

No, it wasn't.

My "disembodied genitalia (that would remain functional)" could not as you argue mean "sex toys" unless you can show me somewhere that sex toys are used that have been removed from animal bodies. (If so do say so but please don't show me for the love of pete! [And let me guess...Germany?])

"I'm excellent at revising/rewriting poorly-written text"

Are you telling me (insultingly) this because I would use BDF as a ghostwriter (if I needed one)? If so, how does your /RE/-writing skill respond to my compliment of her (both as a /writer/, and as the one who I'd be most willing to have speak for me)?

135

Curious @ 134 - Calm down, now, I'm the pedantic one. And I don't like competition.

So my use of "disembodied" was a bit metaphorical, but since tons of dildos are moulded from actual pornstar penises, I still think it fits. They don't come with a reproduction of the rest of the pornstar's body, do they? And they are functional, in the sense that they accomplish their function.

"Are you telling me (insultingly) this because I would use BDF as a ghostwriter (if I needed one)?"

If this is serious: have you ever heard of mock outrage?
If it isn't: obviously, you have.

136

@135 Ricardo
"I'm the pedantic one."

I'm sorry but I'm sure the voters will agree we're both pedantic, man.

Yes "disembodied genitalia" was plausibly as you metaphorically said.

But I don't think that means what I said was a "too broad"(@133) "first draft"(@113).

But it also wasn't great writing. I'm not a great writer, but I do know it when I see it. And I've had my share of experience correcting other writers too.

"have you ever heard of mock outrage?"

At some point I admitted that I'm not good at reading tone...so I was serious.

137

Speaking for myself, I appreciate the full diverse spectrum of freshly fucked asshole. Gaping is a reminder of the joyous ass-fucking, which is hot, and (yeah, sorry) proof of how enormous my (actually pretty normal-sized) cock is. I fondly remember one woman who gaped so wide that her ass basically turned into a black hole for dick. If you waved a dick in its general direction it was going straight up her ass. Hot. One that closes up, but not terribly snug right away, and oozes cum is again evidence of the ass-fucking and is hot. One that snaps shut and looks just like its pre-fucked state, holding in every drop of cum, well that's just amazing, tidy and, wait for it, hot.
