Alone in the Wilderness is about the kind of loneliness that comes from longing to know what’s going on in other minds and other places. It’s a small but rich show of painting, drawing, video, and sculpture from four Vancouver, BC, artists. The centerpiece is Josh Hite’s 15-minute loop of found YouTube footage taken from stealth cams installed in the woods by hunters who want to observe future prey, or property owners looking to nail trespassers. The resulting films are trophies in themselves. (Vera Project, Seattle Center, www.theveraproject.org/artgallery, 2–6 pm, free)
