Tania Harrison
Owner/hostess/matchmaker, Cyber-Dogs, 909 Pike St

Interviewed by David Schmader

Despite a bumpy year marked by the departure of the temporary downtown library, Cyber-Dogs, the scrappy little vegetarian hot dog cafe that could, continues to hold its own. Twinkling like some oddball mini-planet in the otherwise corporatized galaxy of the Convention Center, Cyber-Dogs remains a unique outpost of experimental vegetarianism and surreal society--my last visit brought me a vegan Coney Island chili-cheese dog on a tabletop Ms. Pac Man machine while Some Like It Hot played on the full-screen TV overhead.

In addition to a restaurateur, you're also an amateur matchmaker.

I've introduced many couples--men and women, men and men, women and women. To me, God is love, so I love to help.

Can I see your book of singles photos? Are you single?

No.

Then you can't see it. But if you're ever single again, come back.
