With all the (inter)national firepower booked for the Decibel Festival each year, it's sometimes easy to overlook the local musicians and DJs who appear. Big mistake. Seattle's representing hard this year. Below, we discuss all the 206-centric highlights we can cram into this tiny space. Do further research at www.dbfestival.com to make sure you don't pass on something that may be in your wheelhouse. Your wheelhouse may never forgive you.

After proving himself to be a superior maker of abstract techno and challenging IDM, Lusine (Jeff McIlwain) reached a new pinnacle of accessibility and songcraft with 2009's A Certain Distance. "Two Dots" has developed into quite the dance-floor anthem. (Neumos, 11:15 pm)

214 (aka Chris Roman) has been making big moves in electro circles with a slew of releases on vaunted labels and killer live shows. For everyone who thinks electro is passé, 214 has news for you: Ye olde robo-funk juggernaut still has some surprises and vitality in it. (Chop Suey, 11:15 pm)

Taking a break from the Sight Below's vaporous techno emissions, Rafael Anton Irisarri's eponymous work forgoes beats for impressionist ambience and drone pointillism. This music is almost too beautiful to live. (Pravda Studios, 8 pm)

Struggle (Shawn Kralicek) reigns as one of Seattle's most knowledgeable and technically proficient DJs, whether he's spinning next-level dubstep, deep soulful house, or weird jazz fusion. If he's flubbed a transition or selected a weak track, I've not experienced it. (Sole Repair, 11 pm)

The dogged road warriors in Truckasauras seemingly improve with every live show, and, as the new Quarters mini-album proves, their studio chops are on the ascent, too. Truck's electro-funk has taken on some techno-ish trance-ability and an increasing aptitude for dramatic buildups and breakdowns and sublime melodies. The redneck-kitsch videos? I often forget they're there. (Neumos, 9 pm)

Ill Cosby is your all-in-one future-bass mensch in Seattle: DJ, producer, label boss, radio host. Knowledgeable as hell and blessed with great taste, Cos spreads the low-end gospel with unimpeachable skill. Follow him for next-level developments. (Baltic Room, 9 pm)

Mister Leisure (aka former Stranger freelancer Matt Corwine) has kept a low profile in recent years, but he's long been one of the city's most enthralling house-music producers, along with Jacob London and Lawnchair Generals. Judging by his Soundcloud page, Corwine's brewed up some fab new cuts that live up to his eccentrically funky, lofty standards. (Sole Repair, 9 pm)

Pezzner (one half of Jacob London) has blossomed as a solo artist, muting his kookier JL sensibilities and formulating sensual yet still unconventional house manna for discerning DJs. His wee-morning-hours slot is sure to tip your night into delightful delirium. (Motor, 2 am) recommended
