WTF, October 16? You're mad hectic with quality electronic shows. You're going to drive us crazy with options. Let's get right to the details.

First, Chicago IDM/breakcore sophisto the Flashbulb and Berlin-based, Tigerbeat6- running jack of all genres Kid606 blow into Chop Suey to move the crowd in most peculiar ways. Kid606's been on a rave- revival kick recently, but his live laptop shows tend to be unpredictable, frantically disorienting affairs, with his infamous remix of N.W.A.'s "Fuck tha Police" often rearing its nappy head. But don't miss Seattle DJ M'Chateau, a DJ with a keen ear for techno and microhouse's most sublime organic textures. He's very savvy with the sexxxier end of 4/4 traxxx. And local producer the Naturebot is a master of freewheeling, melodic, Rephlex-y IDM. Hell, don't miss anybody on this bill. (With Naha, Kadeejah Streets, Fukumup, and the Googly vs. Jake J., 9 pm, $10 adv and before 10 pm/$15 after, $3 off w/ monster costume, 21+.)

Second, Chillography 202 chillaxes the fuck out at Church of Bass with Kalpataru Tree's chakra-aligning, flotation-tank dub and the deep-tissue ambient stylings and ice-watery grooves of Michael Manahan, Scott Sunn, and DJ Eckoe. A sleeping bag and a pillow would not go amiss here. Trip in peace and sweat dreams. (920 Elliott Ave W, 10 pm–4 am, $12, 18+, www.chillography.net.)

Third, on a much gnarlier, more boisterous tip, the Shift crew brings to Contour the exhilaratingly crushing bass pressure of dubstep, which has been, we've heard from trustworthy sources, tearing up minds and guts at Burning Man. Yeah, even there. Coming all the way from Tel Aviv, Israel, Borgore offer a bitches (He)brew of provocative dubstep that deploys cheeky vocals and misogynistic lyrics amid ornery, zapping low end and creepy, synthesized poings. The effect is at once ominous and ludicrous. Jews! It's not enough that they run the world; now they want a slice of that lucrative dubstep pie. Jesus. (With Lukki and Nervous Breakdown, 807 First Ave, 10 pm, $5 before midnight/$10 after, 21+.)

Finally, San Francisco–based Altair Nouveau animates the second edition of the maverick disco monthly Trouble Dicso at Re-bar. With an expansive, richly textured 12-inch on DFA Records (Space Fortress), Altair has serious cred as a producer of Euro-flavored disco augmented by wide-screen, John Carpenter–esque dynamics. Beyond that, he's also a renowned DJ of the cosmic-disco persuasion. The epicureans behind this night would not book anyone less than stellar for their event. Trust. (With Trouble Dicso residents Ben Cook and H.M.A., 10 pm, $5, 21+.)
