DIVERSIONS

THURSDAY 10/7

KUBE HAUNTED HOUSE -- It may be haunted more by cheesy DJs, screaming teens, and a line as long as a Poe poem, but it's the first of the season and it's a whopper -- 20 rooms of "horror" to encourage your incontinence. Look for the big faux-Victorian edifice in the parking lot east of Seattle Center, Fifth Ave & Mercer St, Wed, Thurs, Sun 7-10; Fri-Sat 7-midnight, $10.

FRIDAY 10/8

BESIDE THE BANKS OF GANGES -- The not-so-exotic-sounding DJ Peter offers up "an entire evening devoted to music from the East," complemented by bellydancers. Put your bellybutton piercing back in and undulate on down to the Catwalk, 172 S Washington, 622-1863, 9 pm.

SATURDAY 10/9

VINTAGE CLOTHING & TEXTILE SALE -- Vendors from six states offer up old clothes, jewelry, linens, fabric, and door prizes. Remember, if you've never seen it, it's new to you! Seattle Center Pavilion, Second Ave
