Wade decision by attending "Harmful Contraceptives Mean No Right to Choose," a discussion of the programs that encourage poor and young women to use potentially hazardous methods of birth control. "VOICES OF ELVIS" CELEBRATION OF DIFFERENCES--That's what it's called, I swear. Local Elvis impersonator Danny Vernon will do his hero in all styles, including rock and roll, country, blues, patriotic, inspirational, and opera. Vernon recognizes that many fans appreciate one style of Elvis over another, but believes they should learn to appreciate and tolerate the differences. Again, I swear I'm not making this up. CHILDREN OF LESBIANS AND GAYS EVERYWHERE--High school student Kate Fortmueller has two moms and she's starting a Seattle chapter of COLAGE with the help of Stonewall Recovery Services' Lisa Tessendorf. The group is open to youths from ages 12-18 and will touch on such issues as understanding and dealing with homophobia and heterosexism. Meetings will occur the fourth Tuesday of every month.
