SUNDAY 3/25

JEWISH RENEWAL--Led by Maggid Larry Gerstenhaber of Congregation Eitz Or, this workshop is designed for people with all levels of knowledge, interest, and background in Judaism. Key elements in the renewal movement include the following: Chassidic-style devotion and mysticism (kabbalah), liturgical innovation, feminism and God-language, psychology and healing, eco-kashrut (ecological eating) and planet stewardship, renewal's approach to halakhah (religious law), and interface with other spiritual traditions. 12th ANNUAL OYSTER OLYMPICS--A day of celebrities, contests, art, entertainment, raffles, food, and drink in honor of what Mayor Schell has proclaimed "Oyster Day."
