CHOPSTICK PAGODA--As part of this weekend's 20th Annual Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival, visitors can participate in a world record attempt at making a five-story pagoda out of 10,000 pairs of chopsticks. In an entirely un-American feat of creative efficiency, the chopstick wrappers will then be transformed into an origami extravaganza. Seattle Center, 10 am-6 pm, free. GOUGING OF BODILY ORIFICES--The Seattle Rugby Football Club hosts the West Coast's top four men's and women's rugby squads for the Pacific Coast Territorial Rugby Championships, with winners advancing to national competition. BIG-ASS BOOK SALE--But not just books: The 2001 Friends of Seattle Public Library Book Sale offers deals on a mountain of over 100,000 books, CDs, records, videos, sheet music, art prints, and posters.
