The music of oOoOO (San Francisco producer Christopher Dexter Greenspan) sounds a lot like his vowel-intensive name: a drawn-out exhalation of pleasure marked by languid, heavy bass pressure, gauzy synth washes, and opiated, diaphanous sampled vocals. A key figure in the newish genre known as “drag,” a meshing of chopped-and-screwed hiphop and gothy R&B, oOoOO creates aural reveries that are as sinister as they are beautiful. Here’s hoping he redeems his truncated set at last year’s Decibel Festival. (Chop Suey, 1325 E Madison St, www.chopsuey.com, 9 pm, $10 adv, 21+)
