THURSDAY JULY 4

KASKADE/RICK PRESTON

There's no better way to show patriotism than to shake your ass on the muthafucking dance floor. House music was born in the U. S. of A., after all, and is as American as Enron and apple pie. Kaskade and Rick Preston will see to it that you're grooving to choice soulful house cuts while fighting terrorist dance tendencies. I-Spy, 1921 Fifth Ave, 374-9492, 9 pm-2 am, 21+, $9.

FRIDAY JULY 5

BONA FIDE!

Here's a new party at Nation. If you've been under a huge rock, or you're comatose, Nation is one of the coolest little clubs in Seattle. You can eat, drink, and dance... what more do you want, a sponge bath? AC Lewis and J-Justice will be spinning what seems to be a pretty eclectic mix of danceable beats, plus there are monthly live p.a. sets from Sub_Sonic. Nation, 1921 Fifth Ave, 374-9424, 9 pm-2 am, 21+, $6.

WE LOVE FRIDAYS

The party is still goin' on at the most intimate dance floor in Seattle (sometimes being at the Corner is like being locked in a make-out closet at a basement party). There are always good house sets from locals and out-of-towners at this bar. If you missed Rick Preston's I-Spy set yesterday because you passed out with a can of Pabst, you can still catch him here. Corner Bar, Second & Virginia, 269-6388, 7 pm-2 am, 21+, $5, no cover before 10 pm.

SATURDAY JULY 6

LIFE

The Life parties consistently bring deep house to a packed room. Tonight will mark Lance DeSardi's (Seasons, Naked, Viva!) first appearance at the Baltic. John Lemmon and Reid Okumura support. Baltic Room, 1207 Pine St, 625-4444, 9 pm-2 am, 21+, $10.

SUNDAY JULY 7

YO, SON!

Don't hate the playa, hate the game! Chop Suey is throwing a Sunday-night hiphop party, so now there's no excuse for you lazy bastards who won't leave the Hill. Kick those tasseled loafers to the curb, beeyotch, 'cause you can even wear sneakers and not get hassled. Chop Suey, 1325 E Madison, 324-8000, 9 pm-2 am, 21+, $3.

TUESDAY JULY 9

ELIXIR

House music and Manray--it doesn't get any gayer than that, folks!! If you wanna hear some great DJs in a space that's clean enough to sip your drink off of the floor, this is it. Manray, 514 Pine St, 568-0750, 10 pm-2 am, 21+, free.

WEDNESDAY JULY 10

ROBO.TRASH

Calling all freakazoids to the dance floor: The Baltic Room, ORAC Records, and Zion's Gate put on a night of experimental live p.a. and electro DJ sets that are always a great way to kick your hump day right in its big ass. Tonight DJ K.O., Stinky Sanchez, and Samuel Kirkland spin. It's time to get ROBO.trashed. Baltic Room 1207 Pine St, 625-4444, 9 pm-2 am, 21+, $5.
