PEP LOVE OF HIEROGLYPHICS

Pep Love belongs to the San Francisco hiphop collective Hieroglyphics, whose members also include Del tha Funkee Homosapien and Souls of Mischief. He's also cut tracks with Q-Tip, and how can you not be down with Tip! Also on the bill are the Rebelz, who create their own style of Seattle hiphop. Oh, how I love the free dance party--let me count the ways. This night is a cheap way to hear a wide array of quality dance music from residents A. C. BADA LOUNGE

This is a spacious lounge, with a futuristic design that makes you want to drink that weird blue shit Buck Rogers would sip when he was chillin'. Monday nights are downtempo infused with jazz and hiphop by DJ Moda Mark. If you show up at 7:00 p.m., you can catch a spoken-word show as well, though you do have to pay a cover for that part.
