SUNDAY APRIL 27

BEAT-BOP: DOMU

Of all the broken beat DJs and producers coming out of the UK, everyone tells me that Domu (AKA Rima) is the man to check out, so that I'll do. His new album, This World, should be coming out in the near future on Jazzanova-Compost Records. With Atlee, J-Justice, and AC Lewis. Baltic Room, 1207 Pine St, 625-4444, 9 pm-2 am, 21+, $5.

MONDAY APRIL 28

CLICK

Every Monday, your host Misha plays a tech house set usually followed by a live performer of some sort. This is one of the few spots that offers an all-ages venue with DJs. Grab a slice, have a beer, and hear some beats. Michael's Pizza, 526 Broadway, 568-5197, 7-10 pm, all ages, free.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 30

HYBRID: BANGKOK IMPACT

Though originally hailing from Finland, Sami Liuski is closely tied to the Dutch electro scene--which has been dubbed "The West Coast sound of Holland." Liuski's electro disco nouveau has landed him on respected labels such as Crème and Bunker. Vice Magazine claims that Bangkok Impact's track "Masters of the Universe" was "the best dancefloor record pressed to plastic this year." This shit sounds serious! Noiselab, 925 E Pike St, 323-2189, 9 pm-2 am, 18+, $5.
