For more than a decade, Pastor Kaleb has been shepherding a flock of, in his words, “the defunct and disoriented.” Naturally, Pastor Kaleb is a carpenter. Over the years, he’s attracted a congregation of artists, barflies, writers, and burlesque dancers and learned to walk a fine tightrope between satirizing preacher clichés and actually giving you something to think about. Plus, there’s booze and brunch. This is what church was supposed to be like. (Fred Wildlife Refuge, 127 E Boylston St, 588-6959, 11 am, service is free/$20 for brunch)
