Wonderland

Boyland/Sand Point/Sat May 10/12:30 am: Under the stars and dark clouds, two boys who were attending a late-night event at Meadowbrook Community Center walked across a football field toward Nathan Hale High School. Once in the shadows of the school's empty buildings, one boy, who is 13, grabbed the arm of the other boy, who is 11, and ordered him to pleasure his boyhood with his mouth. The 11-year-old boy flatly refused. The older boy then threatened to physically harm the younger boy if he did not fulfill his request. At this point, two adults approached the boys and restored order. The older boy left, and the younger boy explained to the adults what had just transpired. He also stated that it wasn't the first time the older boy had wanted him to do something nasty. The father of the boy was informed of the incident by the adult witnesses; the father later informed Officer Jennifer McLean of the major sex offense by a minor.

Spanking-Monkey Motions/Magnolia/Fri May 9/1:15 pm: This afternoon, a woman observed in the window of an apartment directly across from her apartment window a bathrobed man who was standing sideways, going through "the motions of masturbation" with one arm. Though not exposing himself, he was watching her. She called the police.

Officer Evan was able to determine where the suspect's apartment was, and had the manager let him in. He writes: "A young white male with a scruffy beard answered the door and I advised the suspect of his Miranda rights. He then admitted to masturbating but stated that he was looking at his TV and had no idea that anybody could see him. He also stated that he was definitely not watching anybody outside. He apologized profusely and stated that he was very embarrassed. The victim wasn't desirous of prosecution this time but said that if there were any more instances she would be."

To Sir with Hate/Pill Hill/Fri May 9/10 pm: When Officer M. J. Berndt arrived at Harborview Medical Center's Epilepsy Clinic, he spoke with the witness, who is a nurse. She said that earlier in the day one of her patients had threatened to kill a certain individual. The patient, she claimed, said this: "My life's over and I'm just going to kill him. Kill him until he is dead." The patient was referring to his "Mechanic Vocational Rehab teacher." Apparently, this comment concerned his "getting kicked out of [that] school."

Officer M. J. Berndt writes: "I then spoke to the suspect, who was restrained in a hospital bed. He was very hostile towards me [and stated that] he was going take legal action against his ex-teacher. Because he was committed for a mental evaluation at HMC already, I released him into the custody of his psychiatrist."
