I have a soft spot for charcoal. It takes me back to those (not so) innocent art-school days, I suppose. Its texture and smell are inseparable from memories of sleepless nights and bottles of Gato Negro. But that's neither here nor there. From a distance, at least, the print job on this poster (yet another in a series of great posters for the Comet, by the way) is convincing enough to give you the impression that each one is handmade. Which is nice.
