There’s nothing I hate more in this world than running out of toilet paper. Having to improvise with tissues or paper towels reminds me of bad high school baby-sitting jobs at the neighbor’s trailer home or being so broke in college that there was almost always a stack of fast-food napkins on the back of the toilet.

Now, as an adult, having plenty of toilet paper makes me feel smart. Cash & Carry has the smartest deal on the BEST damn toilet paper in the entire city. I found it by accident while shopping for supplies for a big birthday party. Cash & Carry is like Costco, except you don’t need a membership to shop there. They have great deals on things in bulk—giant boxes of cheap good green tea, two-pound bags of tortilla chips, and super-size packs of AA batteries. But the main reason to go there is the giant package of “SmartBuy” brand “Value Pack” toilet paper. You get 20 rolls for $11.08—that’s about 55 cents a roll. You’ll never find that at your local drug or grocery store. NEVER. And doesn’t EVERYBODY have better, more interesting things to go spend their money on? KELLY O
