DAY-OF-SHOW TICKETS

On the day of the screening, tickets are for sale at the screening theater only (subject, of course, to availability). Theater box offices open a half hour before the first screening of the day. If day-of-show tickets are no longer available, rush tickets may be purchased, if they're available. Cash only.

RUSH TICKETS

When advance tickets are sold out, a limited number of rush tickets may be available at the door. Rush tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on how many seats are available after pass holders and advance-ticket holders are admitted. Rush tickets are normally sold 5-10 minutes before showtime. Cash only.

PASSES

A whole bunch of seats at every screening are reserved for pass holders. While a pass (with the exception of the glittering Platinum Pass) does not guarantee seating, pass holders are allowed priority entry up to 20 minutes prior to showtime, or until pass-holder seat allotment has reached critical mass. Pass holders are strongly encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before showtime (if you're late, don't get pissy!). All passes are strictly nontransferable, and photo ID must be shown at the theater.

Platinum Passes are $900, and include admission to all festival screenings, forums, and press screenings (with the exception of the Secret Festival), reserved seating at the Opening and Closing Night Galas, and much more.

Full Series Passes are $500 and include admission to all public and press screenings, excluding Gala screenings, Secret Festival, Festival Forums, and Special Events. Pass requires a photo. You can either provide your own passport-sized photo or the box office will take one for you.

Weekly Passes are $175 and grant admission to all regular public screenings (excluding Opening Night, Gala Screenings, the Secret Festival, Special Events, and the Festival Forums) for a particular week of the festival. The dates of the available passes are as follows:

Week One: May 20-26
Week Two: May 27-June 2
Week Three: June 3-9

Festival Forum Passes are $100 and get you priority admission to all Festival Forum events.

Cinematic Six-Packs are $54 and include admission to any six films priced $10 or less, limited to a maximum of one ticket per film. Films must be selected at the time of purchase. A limited number of Six-Pack tickets are available for each film.

Film Buff 20-Packs are $150 and include admission to any 20 films priced $10 or less, depending on individual ticket availability. There is a two-ticket limit per film, and films must be selected at the time of purchase.

Films4Families are weekend matinee screenings for all ages. Tickets are $5 for each screening.

Secret Festival passes are $35 for admission to the four Secret Festival screenings Sundays at 11:00 a.m. at the Egyptian. Those purchasing passes are required to sign an oath of silence promising not to disclose any information about the films shown in the series. Film titles are not announced until showtime. Limit two passes per person.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Opening Night Gala is May 19. Tickets are $50 (includes screening and reception), with VIP tickets available for $150 (screening, pre-reception, parking, special access).

Closing Night Gala is June 12. Tickets are $40 (includes screening and reception).
