Sleepy Eyes of Death’s six-year run of adrenalized electro-rock excess grinds to a halt tonight. During that time, SEOD established themselves as Seattle’s most formidable creators of epic synth-enhanced soundtracks for mensch-maschine drama and interstellar conflict. Perhaps such spectacular bombast is not meant to last. Whatever the case, SEOD’s talented members surely will go on to make memorable music and will turn their last gig—with an upgraded light show—into a sensory-overloaded blastoff into gorgeous oblivion.
