FRONT OF BOOK Letters: Skimmed.... Last Days: Sadly, unavailable at deadline.... NEWS Note to Josh Feit: Your protestations that your news section is "exciting" and not at all sleep-inducing fell on deaf ears this week as, after trudging through the news section, I found myself in a near-comatose state. Some advice: Put the whine back in the cabinet and do your job.... SHORT FEATURE Based on what can be gleaned from this short feature, Bradley Steinbacher is either (a) spectacularly stupid, or (b) spectacularly unfunny. Despite my leanings toward the former, I shall do him a favor and assume it is the latter.... FEATURE Just one week after publishing a prowar article by the famed Christopher Hitchens, The Stranger schizophrenically publishes a rigorously antiwar article by Amy Jenniges. Is consistency not a part of Dan Savage's editorial scheme? Does Dan Savage even have an editorial scheme (outside of continual blundering)?... FILM Perhaps no sight can so terrify Stranger readers as much as that of the names "Bradley Steinbacher" and "Sean Nelson" together on a single page.... BOOKS Didn't read.... ART Didn't read either.... THEATER Too gay.... FOOD A rave from Min Liao. My apologies if I do not gasp.... MUSIC Skimmed.... ETC. It's My Party: Didn't read.... I Love TV: Skimmed, found my eyes rolling up into my head, turned page.... Control Tower: See I Love TV.... Savage Love: Mr. Savage devotes his entire column to promoting (and even helping create) an upcoming pornographic film. Normally I would scold him in such an instance, but I find myself still too incapacitated by drowsiness from reading the paper's news section.... Celeb I Saw U: Too gay....
