George Bush had another embarrassing week (a bipartisan Senate report made it official that Bush took the nation to war under false premises; Michael Moore landed on the cover of Time; Republicans openly talked about bumping Cheney from the ticket; and Newsweek caught the Bush freaks thinking about postponing the election). But what made last week even worse for Bush is that John Kerry finally seems to be up and running. We're not crazy about all this "values" drivel Kerry is pushing (it seems defensive), but I'm starting to trust that Kerry knows exactly what he's doing. The Bush Reelection Alert remains Guarded, or Blue, with a limp "general" risk of a second term. --JF
