10. When, on her wedding day in November, red welts broke out all over Solange's face after "turning up x100 during our second line," causing her to miss two hours of her own reception. Luckily, Beyoncé was there to administer Benadryl.

9. When, in February, she took on the role of "Creative Consultant" for Puma and announced her first project: to reinterpret the questionable Disc, Puma's laceless sneaker, first introduced in 1991. Then I saw Solange x Puma's "Girls of Blaze" collection and it was fire. (And then I immediately tried to order a pair of the sold-out shoes.)

8. When, in early November, I was disappointed to see Solange announce that her next Puma collection, "Behind the Bazaar," would be released on retail high holiday Black Friday. When, after hearing Solange arrived to her wedding ceremony on a bicycle and seeing photos of her with said bike wearing a flawless, low-cut, backless cream jumpsuit (and cape!) with heels, I could not stop obsessing about how disastrous a pre-wedding bike accident might have been. Then I realized that there seemed to be no photos of her actually riding the bike and stopped thinking about it.

4. When, days after Solange's marriage, I found myself wondering how her 10-year-old son from her first marriage, Daniel Julez, was coping with this major life change. Then I saw the video of mother and son performing a choreographed dance to "No Flex Zone" by Rae Sremmurd and exhaled.

When, earlier this month, some creep created a fake Instagram account in Solange's husband's name and posted a ton of pictures of her and Daniel Julez with creepy captions like "#Blessed I know it was just the 2 of you for a while but now I'm here to love and protect you. Thanks for letting me in." And then Solange, in boss form, countered simply with "Can you PLEASE stop pretending to be my husband."

2. When, in May, she beat on Jay Z in an elevator after the Met Gala. Then, in July, speaking publicly about it for the first time, she told Lucky ("The Magazine About Shopping") that she "feels at peace" with the incident.

1. When, in April, while performing at Coachella, she risked being upstaged by bringing Beyoncé out to dance with her. Instead, they looked as giddy as teenage girls dancing in their bedroom. And her outfit was better than Bey's.
