So once again activists in Seattle are going to leverage a disadvantaged community to help with their fight against capitalism or whatever the cause du jour they are going to use to justify their actions. I sympathize with the RV dwellers but they should be (and most probably are) aware that the city's response to a game-day vehicular sit-in is likely to be absolutely ruthless. They'll tow first and endure the legal consequences of disregarding such niceties as the 72-hour rule later, whatever the cost. The All-Star game is just too big a deal.

And so they'd suppress obvious false information, particularly when that false information was actively harming people. Now that we've democratized mass media, any dipshit can say anything they want. The "federal pressure" that the judge is forbidding amounts to:
1. The feds alerting InstaTwitFace that some people on their platforms appear to be fomenting revolution, and did they want to take action per their terms of service?
2. The feds alerting InstaTwitFace that some people on their platforms were spreading misinformation about the pandemic (Weird! injecting bleach only works to prevent COVID by killing you before you get COVID!), and did the platforms want to take any action on that per their terms of service?

This was literally the feds letting social media companies know that some weird shit was going down that may have made it around the usual content filters. The private social media companies did all of the removing content.

One function of government is to enforce contracts, and these contracts include Terms of Service or Use. The government was reminding the service providers to honor their contracts by enforcing these Terms.

By ignoring my Terms, a service provider could allow me to spread maliciously false rumors about you. It could then prevent your responses, via strict enforcement of those very same Terms upon you. This would, of course, be completely unfair to you. The government therefore has an interest in protecting you from this un-level playing field, by reminding the service provider to enforce all Terms equally across all users.
