Executive Orders on immigration are great, but I hope President Trump follows those up with strongly worded letters to America's CEOs. Those letters should plainly spell out that the penalty for employing illegal immigrants is prison time- not for the immigrants but for the CEOs.

Failing to include facts in your stories that go against your slant on the same story is an ethical violation. Fox News-style garbage journalism doesn't magically become good just because you like the slant. And once you go down that road of skipping ethical standards, it's not a huge step to here. After all, the former is way more important a violation than whether Smith and Rinck got hot and sweaty one night...one can easily see the ethical slide. The irony of Ashley “Bad Apples” Nerbovig facing professional discipline up to and including termination for dishonesty and then relying on a union to fight said discipline is rich enough you could take it down to Ivar’s on the waterfront and deep fry stuff for with it for decades. It shouldn’t be surprising to anyone that has read anything written by Hannah and Ashley that they are both willing to lie since they do it all the time in their articles.

Given the broader context of the two of them being so publicly upset about Rich Smith leaving combined with what occurred to get them suspended, you have to assume at this point that his editorial directive was to allow his reporters to lie. The good news for all three of them is that there are any number of conservative media outlets hiring that don’t care one bit about their writers being honest so they’ll all likely be able to find work soon.

If you took a poll of people who self-identify as conservative you will find a super-majority of them are enthusiastic trump supporters who also claim to believe the federal government should stay out of our lives.

For the protest event where Sawant led a vandalizing mob to then-Mayor Durkan’s family home, the Stranger initially reported, "The event was organized by Socialists [sic] Alternative and the Democratic Socialists of America. Sawant was invited as a speaker."

As it's entirely possible Socialist Alternative was one of those "2 others," this page in no way contradicts the Stranger's original reporting on this issue -- even though Rich and now you have each made that completely unsupported assertion.

Furthermore, the page was altered. The Event History shows the original title of the event was, "March on the Mayor's Mansion: Defund SPD!" and the first comment in the Discussion asks, "Is this march still going to Durkan's door? Is anyone planning on demonstrating there as opposed to marching back?" So, at least one person thought that was the original plan, which agrees with the event's original title.

As we know, Sawant was one of the persons who knew the address of Durkan's family home. So, this page actually bolsters the idea she was involved from the start in planning this event.

Second, have we evidence Socialist Alternative may have been involved with planning the event? Yes, as I have already described @18, the sudden and last-minute name change suggests this, as does the original name (and therefore true purpose) of the event.

Third, absence of evidence, by itself, does not provide evidence of absence. Socialist Alternative is not an honest organization, let alone a transparent one (https://sccinsight.com/2019/01/07/sa-sawant-tldr/), so their non-mention on the Facebook event page means literally nothing. They are exactly the type of organization which would both try to orchestrate an attack upon a political rival's family home, and keep their own involvement hidden.

Again, thank you for reminding everyone of the true purpose of that event. Sawant's recall election was indeed very well-justified.
