Commenters noted the article had completely misrepresented her father's academic work, and accepted as fact her story about how she dropped out of Oxford -- even though the article itself contained information which cast doubt upon this claim. (One of her longest-standing acquaintances in Seattle had never heard of her story about her dropping out of Oxford.) The Stranger does not appear to have done any journalism of any kind whatsoever on these points. Should anyone else ever do so, what the Stranger would do if her story was proven false would make for an entertaining read, to say the least!
