This interview echoes something I posted elsewhere here on Slog -- that the Right is saying these laws are only in response to the Left passing laws "forcing" transgender acceptance in bathrooms.

So they are having their hissy fit over language -- because we all know transgender folks have been going into their gender identity spaces since forever.

What is doubly funny about this interview is the hypocrisy of the governor whining over the federal government stepping in and "forcing" them to accept the government's point of view -- WHEN THE GOVERNOR IS FORCING THE CITY OF CHARLOTTE to follow the State's point of view.

'It's unfortunate that we see a lot of this in the schools and now in churches. Nope, fail. You don't see a lot of this in evil public schools. This has been going on in churches from day one. It's not a new phenomena.
