THEESatisfaction have announced that they, Stasia "Stas" Irons and Catherine "Cat" Harris-White, have reached the end. This news comes only a few days before SassyBlack's album-release show at Barboza (SassyBlack is Cat). She is also our featured Person of Interest.

THEESatisfaction released three albums, two with Sub Pop, or seven years and were are associated with Shabazz Palaces, Erik Blood, OC Notes. Exceptionally talented black women, and members of the LGBT community, THEESatisfaction effortlessly and productively fused hiphop, space soul, and low-tech sonic effects into a new sound. Their union will much be missed.
