I've never seen any episode of Game of Thrones. I just came here to say how much I like "bee tee dubs".

Nobody from the Vale is going to be trying this wine of Tyrion's. During his trial, he told all of them about the "secret spices" he adds to a dish, and they're not like to forget it.

The Hound had a great episode this week. Every scene with him had at least one great quotable line. And unlike some deeds in the past (Mycah, for one), you can totally root for him as he indulges in a murder spree.

I was a little irritated that they killed the Blackfish off camera. They spent so much time with him, and he (like Davos) makes a comment about how terrible a fighter he must be, and we don't see how he dies. Time constraints, I guess.

@1: You read that far into the post without ever having seen the show? Remarkable.

To hire Ian Mcshane and use him for only one episode is criminal.

Cocksuckers.

They just should have had the Blackfish escape Riverrun like he does in the books, although we have no idea what he plans on doing besides keep killing Freys and Lannisters. But I have a feeling that Brienne just took his role in the show. To kill him off screen is just a disservice. They never should have killed off Selmy either.

I honestly hate how they handled the Arya thing. All they had to do was have her injured less grievously and it would have been fine. But I am sorry, multiple deep puncture wounds (one that would not have closed due to the knife twist), followed by a long bath in shit-water kills you without modern medical care. A needle and some catgut is not going to do it.

@4: I heard he wanted to do the show in a more expanded manner, but had a lot of conflicts from projects across the pond. All he had openings for were one episode. But he hit a damn home run in the time he had.

@4,
The TV show Police Squad! used to have big-name actors (e.g., William Shatner, Robert Goulet, etc.) on as guest stars and kill them in the opening credits.

@4 Ian McShane had other commitments so one episode was all he could do.

Please wait...
