I did a little google search and found that police were involved in the deaths of 16 people last year. 12 of them were carrying weapons and 13 were involved in what they call attack in progress. So if we see someone with a weapon we get to run, if the police sees someone with a weapon it is there job to get it from them.
I am all for better monitoring, stricter punishments, cameras, or any other added monitoring item you need. But know that with increased monitoring means increased hesitation and thought. This can be good, and hesitation can mean the police officers own death. We need to think about the people we ask to serve and protect us.

As for the ACLU and their handling of the Che Taylor police shooting they should sit this out. Our local ACLU president is an idiot. A good example of this is when he said Che tayor was innocent and a total victim who wouldn't carry a gun and that he new Che Taylor and spent new years with him. Then we find out he was carrying a gun while he was selling heroin, and propositioning women for prostitution. Sound like local ACLU management are very accepting of people in their parties, but bad judges of character.

Please wait...
