Didn't Hutchinson cheat a former employer by claiming sick pay to go on vacation?
3
still trips me out that she used to do the local news
4
Yes, Donald Trump is like Bill Clinton without the charm or statesmanship. Congratulations Republicans. You have become the very monster you were trying to destroy.
5
I actually heard the interview live. Before I knew this was Susan Hutchison being interviewed, I thought it must be some fringe Republican apologist. When I heard them say the name 'Susan' I still couldn't believe it. The tone of the interviewers was true incredulity. I honestly think they thought they were being punted, because it was all so surreal. I think Susan Hutchison took the chairmanship of the state GOP to give her a chance of running for office again, but honestly, I can't even imagine her showing her face in public again. It'll be like the final scene of Dangerous Liasons when Glenn Close's character is hissed at the opera.

Congratulations Democraps.

You have lowered the bar for what is acceptable Presidential behavior
so low
that Trump
(and Shillary….)
are viable candidates,
in fact,
to the point that this little pair of deplorables are the nation's only choices in November.

Didn't Mr Savage used to have a little diddy about Skipping Towards Gomorrah?

This must be what that feels like….
7
"All of this behavior occurred when he was a Democrat,"

The best way to spin this is to make a statement condoning his candidates words, and leave it be. Trying to deflect blame that Trump was a Democrat at the time, or President Clinton had done worst, defeats your point of making a statement in the first place..

Having interacted frequently, and positively, with Susan Hutchison when she was on KIRO, I've spent the last few months feeling embarrassed for her because she was saddled with Donald Trump as her party's candidate.

This morning, I am simply embarrassed by her. Do yourself a favor and STFU, Susie.
9
@7: I take offense to your commentary.
10
@6 fuck you.
11
@6: I don't think we should be discussing the size of Mr Savage's diddy here. It's too prurient for me.
12
Also, it should be noted that Trump was a registered Republican before he switched to the Democratic Party in 2001, and that he went back to the GOP in 2009. So, I guess by that reckoning we need to attribute any pre-2001 statements to one party, anything he said between 2001 and 2009 to the other, and then any subsequent statements back to the first one.

How does that work for everybody?
13
Commentor Comltatus, how you do prattle on. Republicans have bought us the sleaziest, most corrupt politicians consistently since 1968, so you can just untwist your pearls and get off your high horse.
14
@6:

The "Democraps" as you call them didn't select Trump as their nominee. If the GOP base had wanted to take a somewhat higher road, they had 16 other candidates to choose from during the primaries.
15
@6, hey, you spelled it right!
16
@6: Correction: Only Hillary can now be considered a viable candidate.

We'll miss Donny.
17
Oops, I meant to @6 - sorry ferret.
18
Apparently Susan Hutchison never head that old adage about what happens when you lie down with dogs.
19
@17 No hay problema.
20
What an exquisitely dense woman. The idea that joining the republican party turned DonaId Trump into a good and righteous man is hilarious. "I know he killed all those people, but that was before Hannibal became a Christian, and he's not like that anymore." I hate emojis but, lol.
21
13
We see your Nixon and raise you three Kennedy's and a Hart.
22
@21:

Perhaps, but the rest of the deck is solidly one suit...
24
The first polls in following Trump's "naughty word scandal," and the hypocritical outrage by Marxist Fascist leftists are in, and guess what? Trump is still winning. Bill Still explains:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSUzOJA4…

Practice saying President Trump.
25
@24:

Taking Bill Still as an "authority" on anything makes as much sense as taking hunting lessons from Wile E. Coyote...
26
@24, what kind of crack are you smoking? If you're going to make ridiculous claims like that, at least make some pretext of providing some sort of reliable evidence or data.

This fiasco is still unfolding, and it is far too early to know what effect it will have on the polls. The earliest polls that might reliably indicate the public reaction to Trumps latest verbal diarrhea will be in 3-5 days from now. 538.com currently has Hillary ahead by wider margins than she's had since the conventions.
27
@24: Is not the margin of error 3% to 5% for most polls? Then to extrapolate on less than 1% as newsworthy is inherently flawed.
28
@13: Interesting that you picked 1968 as the only really corrupt president before Nixon was Warren Harding. Hoover was detached and unrealistic, but not corrupt.
29
Phoebe I gotta ask, were you brought up in the Western Reserve?
30
@29: No, but thank you for causing me to learn more about Connecticut's history.
31
Commentor Comltatus dear, for all their flaws (and yes, I'm acknowledging Chappaquiddick, so put your smelling salts down), the Kennedy men left a legacy of good legislation and good works. Gary Hart was having a consensual relationship with a woman not his wife. If you can't understand the difference between that and Trump's history of womanizing, you might want to consider finding a woman and attempting to have a relationship with her. A good orgasm or two might work wonders for your outlook.
32
While scrolling down the comments a very annoying add featuring a nearly nude young woman flashing her private parts kept pace all the way. I guess disrespect and objectification is ok as long as it is done in the name of commerce.
33
@32, Adblock+.

Trump's supporters won't be bothered by this. Trump has shown himself to be defiant of this as well as just about everything else, and that's why they support him.
35
"I guess disrespect and objectification is ok as long as it is done in the name of commerce."

Are you new to the country, dear?
36
Trump still does not approach the level of depravity exhibited by President Bill Clinton, with crucial assistance from Hillary.
Crucial, as in, Bill's career using his lofty offices to abuse women would not have been possible without Hillary's help and support.
The compliant craven support of the media may keep Bill and Hillary's disgusting ACTIONS off the public radar but don't pretend we don't know better.
37
31
Are you familiar with the record of the Kennedy "men" abusing women?
Any guess at the body count?
38
@34: I took it as an observation about that slutty ad and our depraved culture, not a direct comparison to Trump's remarks.
40
@37: dipshit, catalina SPECIFICALLY conceded Chappaquidick @31.
41
38
it is deplorable. for sure.
although we miss the little gal shimmying out of her jeans...
42
41
yeah, that's one.
don't stop counting there.

seriously we're appalled anyone would defend the Kennedys on any level.
43
@42:

There you go again with the "we" - time to take your Clozapine...
44
@43 (re @42) It is also time for it to get back in its basket.
45
Commentor Comitatus, we can safely assume you've never personally dealt with unwanted sexual advances.
46
@42: you replied to yourself, dipshit.

47
Commentor Comltatus dear, whenever I attempted the royal "we" with late Mother Vel-DuRay, she would ask me if I had worms. If she were here, she'd be asking that of you.

And I'm not surprised that you're appalled that someone would defend the Kennedy family. You don't seem to be all that aware of the world around you.
48
@47: the sovereign citizen bubble is the thickest.

everyone's aware of what "comitatus" implies, right?
49
@48:

Yes, I wouldn't be in the least surprised if CC has Gadsden flag and Oath Keepers bumper stickers on the back of his vehicle.
50
47

it takes a certain gravitas to pull it off

perhaps you were too young then

you should give it another try.
51
45
Phoebes, you little doxie;
is that a come-on?
52
@50: That's rich: the guy who can't post in complete sentences is bitching about ~*~*~*gravitas*~*~*~

@51: There's desperate
and then there's WHATEVER THE FUCK THAT WAS.

Please wait...
