Clearly tootin' on a douche flute is already hazardous, and it's ridiculous to begin with so hopefully things like this will hasten the end of this fad.

disappointed that the promised graphic images were not delivered

In the immortal words of the fucking brat on The Simpsons, HA HAAAAA!

How 'bout just not being addicted to nicotine, idiots?

@2 The warning was intended for the second photo in the post β€” might not be graphic to some, but others might be squicked out by bloody teeth!

@1, @3 Victim-blaming is OK if you don't like what the victim was doing

It's like suing Walmart for cutting your finger on a knife they sold... Welcome to America

So, 25 injuries in five years, mostly due to user error? How does that compare to injuries and deaths caused by fires due to smoking? It's not even close. Smoking is at it's lowest point in history, with the greatest drop occurring in youth smoking. Yet the CDC and FDA falsely classify vapor as tobacco, even if the eliquid is nicotine free. They also say batteries, tanks, digital displays and cotton are tobacco products. The pushback against the regulations isn't only from Big Tobacco, who have a small percentage (10-15%) of the vapor market. Rather, it's the nine million American consumers who use these products, and the 12,000 independent vape shops that will close due to the excessive costs and burdens associated with staying on the market after 2018 and filing a PMTA. Vaping is at least 95% safer than smoking, and is saving lives on a daily basis.

Uhhh... Far more people have DIED of Chantix related suicides than have been INJURED by exploding e-cigs in the same time frame, folks. Yet nothing is being done about Chantix and you asshats are still regurgitating the same misleading BS about vaping. So who's the real douche?

@6 ...if you were using the knife as was instructed or expected and that lead to being cut. So, if you applied pressure on the handle, it came off, and there was another sharp blade in the handle that cut you.

What you're describing is placing your hand underneath a knife while cutting, which, in this instance, would be like vaping in the tub fully submerged in water.

@8 There's quite a bit of poor quality control coming out of China. Look up phone cases with fluid in them on Amazon. Chemical burns all over the place.

@7 where does "95% safer" come from? While medical professionals agree that e-cigarettes are less dangerous than traditional cigarettes, the long-term deleterious effects are still unknown, particularly as the liquids used vary wildly. The research isn't there yet and there's very little regulation. So while I might agree that it's "safer," I would never say it's "safe."

A lot of kids are using vaporizers because of the tasty flavors. The FDA banned those sweet flavors in cigarettes in 2009 because it skewed towards young people.

All I know is I don't want to be the guinea pig of some new laboratory chemical. Good luck to the users out there.

Please wait...
