Should be freaking out about "The economic legacy of endocrine-disrupting chemicals" that is estimated to be 2.5% of GDP annually: "Researchers estimate the United States economy takes a $340 billion hit annually as endocrine-disrupting compounds lower IQs, increase behavior problems and exacerbate health woes like obesity and diabetes."

As a user of British English, I'll accept "color" and "center" but "mollusk" just looks horrible.
