What's wrong with being a Hufflepuff?

Well, Gryffindor are the ones who love derring-do; Ravenclaw are the smartypantses; Slytherin are "I'm alright Jack, screw you" Republicans. And Hufflepuff are ... something else. Something boring. The kids no one else wants to sit next to on the bus because they're boring. No one wants to be a Hufflepuff.

@1: Or they're, you know, normal friendly (magic) people. That was my impression anyway.

Ravenclaw is best, intellectuals 4 lyfe.

Gryffindors think they're the best warriors for justice and goodness. To everybody else I'm sure they're a pain in the ass.

It always struck me as a flaw in Potter books that none of the main characters were from Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. I mean come on surely Hermione should have been a Ravenclaw and Ron a Hufflepuff.
