No one cares about your strawman, you sad little loser.

Let sunshine the alt-right. Richard Spencer, Jared Taylor and William Johnson. It's important to hear and see in the own words what they want, why they are riding the Trump coat tail with the aid of Steve Bannon, and how they are going to normalize their agenda for white nationalism to make white America great. Let's sunshine their allies in Russia, France and the U.K.

It's important to pull the curtain on these groups, their ties with politicians and their successful venture into mainstream media and American politics. These groups have always been there. Their media tactics help win a presidency. It would be stupid to keep them in the shadow by saying they are nothing more than ignorant, low life. That feeds into their populist propaganda anti-establishment machine. Now with Trump, Breitbart is mainstream media. These people see the Trump presidency as their dawn. They are now part of the establishment!

Mother Jones, yeah that leftist print, understands this and profiled Richard Spencer. So did NPR. MJ highlighted these groups and their leaders. Readers need to know who they are.

@1 who voted for Trump?

When was the last fire drill for a roundup of prominent liberals' take on a development? I think you'll find that not every politician, regardless of party, on every hot button issue releases a statement or dials up a tweet to suit the beck and call of the 24/7 media.

Democratic Congressman Hank Johnson said Jews were like termites about 3 weeks ago. About a year before he died Democratic City Councilman Marion Barry pledged that "the dirty Asians" needed to be driven from his city. And when Nikki Tinker was running against a Jewish man for Congress she and her black-church supporters had a campaign slogan "Steve Cohen and the Jews hate Jesus". About a year into office his spiritual advisor Jerimiah Wright proclaimed in an interview that "the Jews won't let me talk to Obama". A spokesperson for the church issued a statement saying they had no problem with Wrights anti-Semetic beliefs. Then there is Patricia Mcallister at OWS-LA. YouTube that one.
Where was the outrage from the left? Where was the condemnation from Obama? Why is it that since Trump was elected you demand that the right constantly denounce every rumor of racist language used by their supporters. You never demanded the same of Obama and the Democratic party and anti-racist activists have never denounced the incidents of racism I listed above. Take the plank out of your own eye for a change.

@5: No, just because everybody hasn't said what should be said doesn't mean that those who haven't said it will not say it in the future.

Get it?

11 should refer to 8.

@14: I'm so comforted that I not compelled to envelop myself in every wave of hype since last Tuesday. We can triage what to focus on and not sacrifice being vigilant to what's going on.

The tired old "Wake the Fuck Up" is typically only used by those whom sanctimoniously feel they're more in tune than anyone else. I genuinely feel sorry for them; their continuous frustration and anger must be so unhealthy for them.

@6, I started looking up your references, found the first one to be utter bullshit and decided to stop wasting my time. Hank Johnson never said Jews are like termites. What he said was "“There has been a steady [stream], almost like termites can get into a residence and eat before you know that you’ve been eaten up and you fall in on yourself, there has been settlement activity that has marched forward with impunity and at an ever increasing rate to the point where it has become alarming,”"

Very different. He's talking about how the Israeli settlers are breaking up Palestine like termites break up wood. It's kind of a forced analogy but it's apt. He's right. They are. Questioning the actions of Israel or Israeli settlers is very different from smearing all Jews.

Since your #1 example was bullshit I'm going to assume the rest of your examples are bullshit too. I know that's unfair but so is spreading a nasty baseless rumor.

@16: You're right, frustration and anger are healthy - to a degree - but not when continuously exacerbated into hysteria with layer upon layer of recycled outrage over what is obvious to everyone in the first place.

You are still allowed to take five, you know.

Please wait...
