I think a lot of my current guilt has to do with the fact that I didn't feel much guilt until about 6 months after it happened.

Cat Brother

Floribama's guilt trip is so far off the deep end that her sanity is in doubt. I came up with solutions to her terror of being exposed that were totally off the wall. I would hoped she would she the similarity between her excessive fear and my excessive solutions. Although they would not necessarily be that extreme if this was a domestic abuse situation.

So if you're still reading this, ignore these guys and work it out with your therapist.

@floribama - do *not* fess up to your fiance. You started doing something wrong and then stopped. You started down a bad path and turned yourself around Your fiance was *right* to trust you. You lived up to that trust.

One more thing: People who swear up and down about sanctity and whatever set themselves up for failure. People who know they are imperfect human beings know they actually need to work at commitments. You know you are an imperfect human and you will have demonstrated the ability to pull yourself off the wrong path and get on the right one.
