I've read the article three times, and I still don't understand how Vice Media is "forcing them out of their digs." Am I crazy, or is there key information missing?!

Thanks, Dave, but it would have helped to have just as much info on the "villain" as there was on the history of the small business, since I know nothing about them -- except maybe they're connected to that HBO documentary series?

Isn't New York the nation's second-most-expensive city, after SF/the Bay Area? I can't for the life of me figure out how you arrived at "third".

Can someone summarize from the movie why it wasn't practical to move to a new space? Had they previously been paying below the current (absurd) rates and lost that deal, or was there just no viable space to rent?
