A phalanx of ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars stretched down 2nd Avenue tonight after reports were issued of a shooting at the Crocodile, where a rapper named A Boogie with Da Hoodie was scheduled to perform, presented by ReignCity. Though social media is bursting with unconfirmed reports, Q13 reported that "at least three people" were sent to Harborview with injuries from the shooting.
KOMO News has reported that the shots were fired by a high powered rifle at "two women inside the club and one man outside" and that, according to police, "none of the injuries were critical." Witnesses say they heard as many as seven shots. The shooter is still at large.
Witnesses inside the club said they were waiting for a hip-hop artist to show up for a sold-out concert when they heard several gunshots and dropped to the floor.
"The shootings were just random and I just ran, I don't really know what happened," Rebecca Gonzalez. "I was just in the front and I don't know what was going on in the back, it was just random."
