It's Monday. It's nearly 7 p.m. and many of us spent the day still half asleep from weekend festivities, which, if you're in Seattle, included running around outside in the glorious sunshine. Well, ICYMI (intentionally or not), today marked the first Senate hearing for Supreme Court Nominee Neil Gorsuch and the House Intelligence Committee grilling the hell out of FBI Director James Comey. So eventful!

So what the hell happened? Let's ask Twitter's first-responders to the Ongoing Political Apocalypse™ ...

And let's not forget about Judge Gorsuch, who not only has the same facial expression as Muppet Sam Eagle in the photo below, but was also nominated to fill the Supreme Court seat of the late Justice Antonin Scalia. (So sorry for the comparison, Mr. Eagle, but it had to be said.)
