Bainbridge Island Indivisible, a group inspired by an open source guide to fighting President Donald Trump, cancelled a "die-in" protest at Westlake Center in Seattle this evening. The rally—which was intended to protest Trumpcare (AKA the replacement for the Affordable Care Act that would leave millions of U.S. residents without insurance)—was cancelled out of sensitivity to the attack in London today, a group representative wrote in an e-mail.
The planned rally was inspired by recent die-ins in Denver, Colorado and Brooklyn, New York.
A BII representative said the group has not yet planned another rally for a later date.
