@1 Car tags can identify the car but not the driver. If you look carefully the passenger door is open so this fuckstick was probably not the driver anyway. His face is clearly visible though, so it won't be hard to find him.
@2 -- Either way the driver is a suspect, if he didn't report the crime ("it was a hitchhiker, I swear ..."). So unless the owner can explain who was driving his car, he is in trouble. Maybe he'll report it as stolen (or maybe it was stolen).
I can't believe there hasn't been any mention of the shooting last night in (apparently) the parking lot of Borrachini's. All the sirens and helicopters disrupted my terrace happy hour.
As for the cretin in this picture, you'd think that he at least would invest in a decent foundation garment before deciding to put himself on the internet.
Am I an asshole for thinking that, when you brandish a weapon at someone, what you call them really doesn't matter that much? I mean, i've been called a fag or the n-word roughly... thousands of times? Trees/Forest.
If you pull a gun in public, prepare to be shot yourself. Or worse. Once you make yourself a deadly threat, deadly force against you is warranted. Too bad they were walking, else they would have been justified in running him down.
Uh the cops should be able to track him down pretty easy, even I can read the license plate. If they say they can't, well- I think that says a lot about their priorities.
the cops in seattle are notorious--even outside of seattle at this point--for being aggressively passive. i wouldn't hold my breath for an arrest, but who knows. maybe this guy will run afoul of one of them along the way. he's none too bright or sane, so there's a good chance of it, i'll wager.
Which means, short of handing the victims a business card, SPD probably won't do jack to try and track him down...
And why is the media not mentioning the race of the suspect? Not an identifying feature? Political correctness run amok!
