Worth noting this is a 2k Criterion restoration and the trailer looks beautiful. It's probably the first time Western audiences have ever seen a good copy of this film—the only copy I've watched was rough. Excited for this.

I saw a subtitled copy years ago, but yeah, a great film

"To overcome our enemies we must have our own socialist militarism. We must carry along with us 90 million out of the 100 million of Soviet Russia's population. As for the rest, we have nothing to say to them. They must be annihilated."

— Hirsch Apfelbaum, aka. Grigory Zinoviev, 1918

Communism, worldwide, killed 100 million in the 20th century. Truly the most horrify "science-fiction" monster created by "scientific" man. An abomination of pure fantasy made flesh. A posionous idea taken from the realm of abstraction to the world of the concrete. An idea which so infected the minds of men to cause them to commit the most barbarous of atrocities on an unimaginable scale- all in the name of love, in name of "Tikkun Olam!"

It is only now that we've even begun to truly understand. Love wins, love conquers all. Mend the world...
