I'm so pleased to be the first to get here to say that the survivors on LOST weren't in magic purgatory until after they died.

And I'm not sure if I believe Nora's story. I probably don't, but might want to.

@josh, oh yeah, PROVE IT. they were in some kind of nondenominational church meeting. Why the hell didn't they remember anything! it was BS

What @1 said - 10 years on and people still don't understand that it was pretty blunted laid out there that they WEREN'T in purgatory the whole time. Time to hop off that bitching train and get over it.

I don't want to forever tie LOST and Leftovers together - but this show definitely nailed down a lot of the grander themes he was trying to explore with LOST - that I'm sure got caught up in ABC purgatory and were never able to flourish.

Yeah, I don't want to belabor discussion of this exceptional season with a squabble about the messy details a very flawed one. But I thought that the LEFTOVERS finale was slightly more ambiguous than LOST's.
