What @1 said - 10 years on and people still don't understand that it was pretty blunted laid out there that they WEREN'T in purgatory the whole time. Time to hop off that bitching train and get over it.
I don't want to forever tie LOST and Leftovers together - but this show definitely nailed down a lot of the grander themes he was trying to explore with LOST - that I'm sure got caught up in ABC purgatory and were never able to flourish.
Yeah, I don't want to belabor discussion of this exceptional season with a squabble about the messy details a very flawed one. But I thought that the LEFTOVERS finale was slightly more ambiguous than LOST's.
And I'm not sure if I believe Nora's story. I probably don't, but might want to.
