Nectars newly covered patio.
Nectar's newly enclosed patio.

On June 13, Fremont's Nectar Lounge unveiled renovations that have been a year in the making. The club—whose capacity is nearly 500 and which ranks as one of Seattle's foremost havens of reggae, dub, hiphop, and jam bands—has radically altered its upstairs area, replacing the small tables and swivel chairs with eight new wooden booths and seven raised tables. In addition, Nectar has added a cover to its heated patio, built a bar on the mezzanine level, upgraded its sound and lighting systems, and installed a gender-neutral restroom. Check out more photos of the changes after the jump.

To be frank, these booths are handsome.
