"...during a visit to Mar-a-Lago, the Weekend White House" - fixed it for you.
2
... a private, for-profit, members-only club with the proceeds flowing directly to Trump and his family.

That's the best ever metaphor for how this country has gone horribly wrong over the last four decades.
3
Oh, and I guess we also should be asking if bullying, blackmail, treason, tax evasion, munnie laundering, and charity fraud are TOTALLY NORMAL activities for a president to engage in.

IOKIYAR! (shrug)

...and in other news, Prezident Elect Camacho, while brandishing a machine gun in front of Congress, demanded answers to why Brawndo was not making more income for the government (and his family), insisting on irrigating crops with it.

Did he threaten to "Seth Rich" their asses, too?
6
The leader of the country throwing a temper tantrum when the free press says something that makes him cry is a sure sign that America is Great Again.
7
@4 OMG someone just referenced Idiocracy on the Internet! We've got an intellectual over here!
8
Joe, Mika, you weren't supposed to contact anybody about this. Expect one of Fluffy's paws in the mail and get to scribing that apology quick.

Only their first win against the Globetrotters in nearly 60 years would make the Generals happy.

You fuckheads didn't give a rat's ass when Hilary and Obama bombed the fuck out of Libya, killing thousands of innocent people and creating a refugee crisis of immense proportions.. But this bullshit is headline news.

What a waste of internet electrons.
13
@11: like you gave a fuck about Libya when it was going on.

NATO interceded to enforce a UN no-fly zone, SAVING thousands of lives under assault by Gaddafi's military. yes there were casualties, but civilians were not deliberately targeted. the UNHRC says 60 civilians were killed, but other reports, including Gaddafi's dubious claims, put that number in the 1200s.
far more died in overthrowing Gaddafi, and in the clusterfuck that's followed.

what was the alternative to intervention? allow Gaddafi to slaughter the population of Benghazi? that's what he was doing.
13
@11 Non sequitur, your thoughts are uncoordinated.

15
FWIW: Joe and Mika - infotainers by trade - almost certainly have needled POTUS for the purpose of conjuring this spectacle, getting a little ratings bump, and a little schadenfreud.

Bravo.
16
When the elitists feud america breaks out the popcorn. Someone hit someone with a chair already.
17
@15: No. Just because you think that might make a salacious scoop doesn't make it true. In addition, MSNBC doesn't need any contorted attempt through the White House and tabloids to raise ratings as they are already ahead of FNC.

@7

Come on, give the guy a little credit.

He managed to work a concise plot summary into his movie reference; how often do you see that?
20
@15, 19: Even if the hosts had been needling Trump in order to get a reaction and thus boost their ratings (show us the proof of that, by the way), it shouldn't matter. He's ostensibly the President of the United States. He's supposed to be above such petty reactions. Remember how for the last nine years, conservatives have been throwing any and every racist conspiracy theory they can come up with at the Obama family? Or how for the last 30 years, every sexist insult at Hillary Clinton? Both of them are mature and professional enough to ignore it. Trump isn't mature enough to run a 7th grade AV club.

I'm sure the current leader of the free world and his aides have a lot more important issues to handle right now than The National Enquirer. If I didn't know better I would say that it appears that excommunicated reporting staff from CNN have found a new home at The Stranger.
22
ITMFA all fucking ready!
23
Where the hell are Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein when we so desperately NEED them?

Please wait...
