What's with all the fear-stoking? Animals that don't look like ones we're familiar with on a day to day basis? BE AFRAID!!!

That last photo is just a wolf eel, probably at pretty shallow depths. Because of the feather stars, it's probably from somewhere around Vancouver Island. Wolf eels are pretty cool, and totally harmless. I swim with them all the time.

Oh grow up, Sydney. The most lowly invertebrate in Puget Sound is infinitely more fascinating and complex than any stranger employee.
