Let's not give this hype any more hype than it deserves.
3
Even if true, what makes you think he'd bother to warn us? We're not exactly his "target" demographic.
4
I always thought the best thing to do in the event of a nuclear launch was to head for Ground Zero. Who'd what to survive a nuclear war?
5
I would head to the nearest bar, grab a bottle of Tequila, and down as much of it as I could. I learned a long time ago that there is no escaping Seattle in an emergency, so you might as well go out with the bang.
6
Ugh. What a cruel fate, to die in Bellevue. Assuming the blast reaches across the lake, of course. I doubt NK has that sort of capability.
7
I wouldn't trust this geezer if he swore he was lying
8
anchorage is closer
honolulu is closer

Trump is a liar and the ICBMs of North Korea are probably still pretty inaccurate. Or so I would think. Who knows where the damn thing might land?
10
If a nuke heads toward Seattle, my first inclination will be to think that Trump launched it.

@5: Just have something better than Jose Cuervo. Please.

I'd rather sip my martini slowly and savor my last anchovies and caviar.
12
20 miles west of Seattle is the biggest stockpile of active nukes in the U.S. Remember the bus ads? I help protect those nukes with my brain implant technology, but cyborgs are still considered classified.
13
I don't get it. Do you think fleeing is a real option? I'm probably missing some literary or intersectional point here. Please let me know what I'm missing.

NM, I just looked at your other articles. You would like to have us talk about you and your unique and edgy insights. No need to respond.

Going to Tacoma or anywhere near it would be worse off. A nuclear strike would more likely be strategic, and if it was to hit the Puget Sound area, it'd be more likely headed for JBLM (which is near Tacoma) or Bangor on the Peninsula. Taking the light rail or moving to Tacoma would be the opposite of a good move
16
@15 you think North Korea could target their missile that accurately? I think any missile they get over to the mainland US would be relatively close to a major target but still miss it. Trying to hit JBLM? Say good bye to Federal Way. Trying to hit the naval base in Everett? Kiss Northgate Mall good bye.

And I can't imagine this hasn't been brought up. If the west coast was reliably in the GOP column the GOP would be scrambling to impeach Trump. But since it's a bunch of liberals...killing off a major lefty city like Seattle or Portland really does help the GOP in the long run.

Hype hype hypety hype NUKES! OMG! HYPE!

Let's focus on real shit, like Rep. Barbara Lee's ongoing efforts to repeal "Patriot Act" era Presidential war-starting authority... that would go a long way to stopping Drumpf from single handedly initiating new military "adventures".
18
@17 you are 100% correct.
