Luciun Truscott IV did a great piece years ago about how shocked he was, as a West Point guy, to get his right wing pieces published in the Voice. He then learned that Dan Fancher had fought up Italy with his grandfather.

Whether you agreed with the Voice's political positions or not, the death knoll of print journalism rings another departure, which is sad for the Fourth Estate and ultimately, us.😭
3
how long before the (award winning) Stranger and the Mercury do the same?
4
@2 On the bright side, the trees will be relieved.

@3 They already did.
5
@3 THANK YOU...how do u do the link thing like you did with "already did"?

@2 "print" is just the medium, the message remains,,,
6
@2 Oh, and it's "knell," not "knoll."

@5 HTML tags. The preview will show you whether you're using them right or not.

@4: We came out as bi, but the Merc is still weekly.
8
@6 thank you,,,,,,,it's a whole new world :)
9
@7: Do you miss the days when you were crushing the Urban Spelunker?
10
WHAT? Biweekly, on heavier stock ?!? What am I going to use to paper the inside of my kitchen compost bin with?? You Bastards!

@4, via 2 - If we used industrial hemp for paper, instead of trees, we'd still have paper, and trees.

@7 For now. I think we all know the Merc would've been chopped as well if Wm. Steven Humphrey were syndicated, too. And the clock is ticking...

@10

Soil, then. The soil will be relieved.
13
Oh, Raindrop. Those were the days. But it's the Seattle Scroll I miss most of all.

@5:

It's a basic HTML tag. Just enter the URL link between the exclamation points and then enter the text between the less-than & greater-than symbols like the example in the link.
