Thank you for highlighting this episode! I had tried Room 104 but didn't keep going after the awful episode with Dawson (of Creek fame). I watched this episode tonight after reading your opening paragraph, loved it, and burned through several more after that. The show is rough but has promise; I'll keep up with it I think.

I wouldn't classify "The Missionaries" as a coming out story at all. I viewed it as more of a 'coming of age' story, that just happened to involve some gay sex (probably, we didn't get to see it).
