Zombie Trumpcare has been killed for the fourth but probably not the final time. When will be the last time? Impossible to say. So long as the Koch brothers and other rich Republican donors want Obamacare gone, repeal will be on the table. For decades Republicans have been using the ideology of victimhood to mask their inability to govern, so they can play this game all day. And so long as Democrats keep failing to offer a real solution, such as maybe for instance a lil old thing like Medicare for All, then we'll be stuck forever repealing or not repealing or shoring-up Obamacare.

Fuck you forever Senators Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy for desecrating your sweet southern accents by using them to obfuscate the fact that you both tried to ram through another repeal effort that would have likely left millions uninsured.

Fuck you forever Senator Ted Cruz for using the drama of millions getting kicked off of health insurance to direct attention to yourself, you dweeb.

Big thanks to Senator Susan Collins for allowing reason to be her guide and coming out against the bill on Monday.

Still fuck you forever Senator John McCain for being an asshole warmonger who doesn't deserve your "maverick" status, and also Senator Rand Paul for being a recalcitrant libertarian doofus, but thanks I guess for not using your evil powers to kick millions of people off healthcare this time.
