It Happened Again: Last night, a very deadly and destructive shooting occurred in Las Vegas. At least 58 people were killed, "well over 400" were injured. The Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo reported that the gunman is a 64-year-old white male named Stephen Paddock. He indiscriminately shot people attending a country music festival on the Vegas Strip from the 32nd floor of the iconic Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino. He killed himself before the police could arrest or kill him. It's reported he had 10 rifles in his room. He clearly had enough bullets in his room to injure over 400 people and kill at least 58. Militarizing a hotel room is apparently a very easy thing to do in our country.

USA Today reports that Stephen Paddock, the dead suspect, lived in a retirement community, Sun City Mesquite, which is an "upscale development of about 1400 homes." Now that the killer has been identified as white, the right-wing media desperately wants him to be a Bernie Bro or a member of Antifa. If it turns out he is a loony lefty, something might be done about leftist groups in the US. If he is not, nothing will be done about anything that might prevent a mass shooting from happening again.

Brother of Dead Suspect Says: His brother was an ordinary guy, gambled, was not angry, and sent cookies to their mother.

And, Of Course: ISIS is claiming, without evidence, responsibility for the attack.

All Flags in San Juan Lowered for Victims of Vegas: American citizens uniting with American citizens? It looks like this...

It Was A Very Bad Weekend for the US: Here are some of the things that happened and left me in a state of shock.

9 Million Children Can Expect to Lose Their Health Insurance: This terrible thing happened on Saturday and received much less attention from mainstream media than the NFL's kneeling controversy.

President Trump Called Puerto Ricans "Lazy" and the Mayor of San Juan a "Poor Leader" on Twitter: This is also happened on Saturday (though the three tweets in question were deleted).

Facing Backlash from Three Tweets That Insulted over 3 Million Americans on a Devastated Island in the Middle of the Ocean, President Trump Attempted to Distract Americans with Tweets That Bizarrely and Brazenly Mocked the Leader of North Korea: He called Kim Jong-Un the Rocket Man again, and said that negotiating with North Korea was a waste of time. He had a solution that would finally work. That solution is, of course, nuclear war. The distraction worked until the deadliest mass shooting in US history happened at the end of the day, Sunday.

President Trump Calls For Unity: Of course he did.

A View of the Tragedy:

It Is Not Too Soon:

Remember, the NRA and GOP Are Pushing Bill That Makes It Easier to Purchase Gun Silencers: : It's called the “Hearing Protection Act" (hunters want their hearing protected from the reports of their rifles), and it is a part of a larger bill called the “Sportsmen Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act,” or SHARE Act. Protection and sharing—these are the words used for machines that destroy lives.
